Blowing bubbles was a favorite game I played with my children when they were young.
Bubbles are always fascinating to see and bring us much joy. They are like sakura in bloom, beautiful but ephemeral. It’s transparent, fleeting and ever transforming form is always hard to be captured by the naked eye.
Here bubble forms are selected, frozen and made visible with porcelain, a delicate medium in ceramics. “Containment” is a series of work depicting my vague and ambiguous feeling.
