Artist Statement
The Containment Series explore the relationship of a container to its lid. This second series demonstrates interplay of space between bubble and bottle. Both the bottle and the bubble show an original growth from working on the wheel, which the bottle is an example of perfect control and the bubble is a deviation from the tradition. Within the realm of ‘control’ and ‘freedom’, happy memories are refreshed.
